ECHO Free-Cool Chillers
At the heart of the ECHO system is an environmentally-friendly energy efficient packaged free-cool chiller.
These chillers incorporate the latest compressor technology matched to the latest green refrigerants, to give optimum cooling capacity without compromising the environment.
With the elevated water temperatures the ECHO system requires, there is a huge opportunity to reduce the amount of electrical energy required to cool the data centre. Partial free-cooling is available for 95% of the year and full free-cooling approximately 50% of the year, based on a London ambient profile.
Chillers are sequenced depending on demand and prevailing ambient conditions to provide optimised performance and maximise any available free-cooling.
