High Efficiency IT Cooling System
The ECHO High Efficiency IT Cooling System is designed to match the cooling requirements of the latest IT hardware, not only in terms of temperature but also airflow and pressure.
By acknowledging that the airflow management of the ‘black box’ is catered for within the hardware design, the ECHO system focuses on providing the environmental elements that allow I.T. hardware to breathe efficiently. For too long, the focus has been on temperature or airflow and with very little consideration for pressure. The ECHO system monitors and controls all three of these parameters, ensuring that the right temperature air, in the correct quantity and at the correct pressure is presented to the server inlet.
By matching the temperature differential of the IT equipment, it is possible to operate with air volumes 50% less than traditional cooling systems, but with far greater opportunity for free cooling and hence much greater efficiency. Above all, the ECHO system is exactly that; a system where every component complements the next and is underpinned with a control strategy that communicates from the rack to the chiller to achieve the ultimate in control and efficiency.
